It's that time of the year again (ie, anytime). Time to think about destroying your body in the name of achievement.

August 2012 will be a great month for the 100 mile goal. It will be sufficently warm, it will have 31 days, it will be when I think I can complete it.

Whether it is running, swimming, biking, walking, crawling, rolling, or whatever, 100 miles is just around the corner (after the 99.9 mile straightaway).

Don't be afraid to start training for it now.
